Amazing tune! Also very seminal for me - the 12" version being one that, in 2018... well... changed the course of my Artist career (and therefore my whole life in general)!
[Short Version] BLOND:ISH (it was Viv), opened their 4AM set with it - from complete silence - and that moment, the percussion itself, hit me so hard [different levels / reasons] that I was inspired to explore ideas... which, on the 27th Sep, led me to create the track that was the definition of the direction I have since made my niche (subsequently changing my whole life in general).
Really enjoyed listening to that! I’d convinced myself before hitting play, that the story was gonna end differently… And be something about not being so precious about your own work 😊. But but I stood corrected and can relate completely, based on my years of listening through a third person‘s ears when I assess the likely effectiveness of trailer music - imagining that I am watching for the first time in a Theatre.
